Day 1: Iten/Eldoret – Lake Nakuru National Park | Enroute Game Drive & Check-In
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your location in Iten or Eldoret. Enjoy a scenic drive through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. A short stop at a viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the escarpment—perfect for a quick photo moment.
Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its ecological diversity, especially its birdlife. The lake is often fringed by pink hues from flamingos, while the surrounding parklands host a range of wildlife including white and black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and an impressive variety of bird species.
Begin your safari with an enroute game drive, entering through one of the park’s gates and exploring its rich habitats—woodlands, bushy grasslands, and lakeshore wetlands—alive with wildlife.
Proceed to Hill Court Resort & Spa, a comfortable property situated near the park. Upon check-in, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch and some time to relax.
In the late afternoon, embark on an evening game drive, which presents a great opportunity to observe wildlife in the golden glow of sunset. This is often the most active time for predators and a serene moment for photography.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Return to Iten/Eldoret
Start your day with an early breakfast before checking out. Head back into the park for a morning game drive, the ideal time to see animals and birds as they are most active in the cool morning hours. Depending on time, visit Baboon Cliff for panoramic views of the lake or explore Makalia Falls.
