3 Days 2 Nights Lake Baringo AND Lake Nakuru

Lake Baringo, the northernmost jewel of the Kenyan Rift Valley, lies just south of Lake Turkana. This stunning reserve is teeming with diverse wildlife, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts and adventurers alike.

Lake Nakuru National Park is a breathtaking oasis that dazzles with its vibrant pink hues, thanks to the millions of flamingos that call it home. This stunning soda lake, nestled in the heart of the Rift Valley, creates a mesmerizing spectacle when viewed from afar, appearing as if it’s adorned with a ring of delicate pink feathers. The sight of these graceful birds flocking to the shores is a reminder of the incredible beauty and diversity of wildlife that thrives in this remarkable sanctuary.

Day 1: Lake Baringo National Park

The scenery of Lake Baringo is breathtaking. The Lake is famous for its great number of crocodiles and hippos along the Lake.

Since it’s a freshwater lake lesser flamingos are not present at the Lake. The Lake is well known for its bird viewing as it hosts a greater number of bird species.

We will then proceed to Lake Bogoria reptile park to see the different varieties of reptiles. Have a boat ride for an Island excursion, the love island, and the hot spring.

We will then explore the geothermal hot springs along the lake’s shores, where you can see steam rising from the ground and even take a dip in some areas.

Later in the afternoon you will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including the beautiful rift valley and the lake’s shimmering waters as we depart to lake Nakuru National park.

You will enjoy your delightful packed lunch on your way as you journey to Lake Nakuru, arriving just in time for an evening game drive.

Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures are cool, the lights become softer and the wildlife begins to get active

Late in the evening you will settle in at your accommodation, have dinner and spend overnight at your own pleasure.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru itself is a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The site of the at times millions of Flamingoes is quite spectacular. From a distance, the Lake appears ringed in pink because of the massive number of flamingoes.

Early morning game drive is an absolute must for any safari adventure. As the sun begins to rise, the world awakens, and you’ll find yourself in the heart of nature’s spectacular show. This magical time of day guarantees thrilling encounters with wildlife, including hippos returning to their natural habitat after a night of grazing, elusive black rhinos roaming the plains, and majestic lions basking in the golden light.

The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and White rhino. You will be able to also spot Lions, Waterbuck, Buffalo, and Baboons as they are all residents here. The Lake has retained its reputation as an Ornithologist’s delight with more than 400 species of Birds.

In the evening, you will head back to your hotel to freshen up and partake in dinner.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park- Eldoret

You will have breakfast at your hotel as you prepare to check out.

As you leave Lake Nakuru, enjoy a thrilling enroute game drive, a perfect final adventure before your drop-off at your preferred destination.
