Day 1: Arrival and Mombasa City Tour
Upon your arrival at Moi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide, who will be with you throughout the trip. After a brief meet-and-greet, embark on a guided Mombasa city tour, including highlights such as the historic Fort Jesus, the vibrant temples, Maama Ngina waterfront, and bustling craft markets. Enjoy a delightful lunch at a selected local restaurant before being transferred to your beach hotel for check-in. The evening will be spent relaxing, followed by dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 2: Mombasa Beach Life
Start your day with a leisurely breakfast, after which you’ll have the entire day to immerse yourself in the laid-back beach life on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Whether it’s swimming in the turquoise waters, taking a relaxing boat ride, or simply enjoying a beach stroll, Mombasa’s pristine coastline offers a perfect setting for unwinding. The hotel also features some of the finest swimming pools in East Africa, adding to your experience. Lunch and dinner will be served at the hotel, where you’ll also spend the night.
Day 3: Transfer to Diani
After breakfast, your guide will drive you across Mombasa town and through the Likoni ferry crossing, beginning a scenic one-hour journey to Diani Beach. Along the way, you’ll pass through lively small towns with matatus and local craft shops adding to the cultural experience. Arrive at your Diani hotel in time for lunch and settle in for an afternoon of pure relaxation. The afternoon is yours to enjoy the serene beach setting before dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 4: Excursion to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park and Wasini Island
After an early breakfast, your guide will take you south to Shimoni, where you’ll board a local boat for an unforgettable excursion to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park and Wasini Island. On this boat trip, guided by knowledgeable locals, you may encounter dolphins, vibrant fish species, and stunning coral reefs. You’ll have the option to swim, snorkel, or simply float in the calm waters of the Indian Ocean.

Day 5: Relaxing at Diani Beach

Take a rejuvenating walk along Diani’s 17-kilometer stretch of powder-white sands while watching the tides and soaking in the picturesque ocean views. The peaceful ambiance of this beach is unforgettable. You’ll return to your hotel for lunch, followed by an afternoon of relaxation by the pool or another dip in the ocean. A few surprise activities may be arranged to enhance your experience before enjoying dinner and another night at your lodge.
