Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar – Welcome to Paradise

Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional representative who will assist with your transfer to your hotel. Once checked in at Jaromax Hotel or a similar property, take a moment to settle in and absorb the warm tropical atmosphere. Later in the day, you’ll be introduced to your dedicated guide, who will walk you through the details of your itinerary and prepare you for the exciting journey ahead. With no scheduled activities for the afternoon, this day is all about easing into the rhythm of island life. You may choose to take a gentle walk, enjoy the hotel’s amenities, or simply relax as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

Dinner will be served at your hotel.

Day 2: A Walk Through History – Stone Town and Prison Island

After a delightful breakfast, your day begins with a guided exploration of Stone Town, the historic quarter of Zanzibar City. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is steeped in centuries of cultural fusion, where Swahili, Arab, Persian, Indian, and European influences have shaped every narrow alleyway, carved wooden door, and spice-scented market. As you stroll through this living museum, your guide will share stories tied to key landmarks like the House of Wonders, the Sultan’s Palace, the Old Fort, and the Anglican Cathedral built on the former slave market site.

In the afternoon, you’ll board a traditional wooden boat and cruise to Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island. Once used as a holding site for enslaved individuals and later as a quarantine station, today the island offers a peaceful escape with clear waters, sandy shores, and a sanctuary for giant Aldabra tortoises—some of which are over a century old. Enjoy swimming or snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters before returning to your hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Nature’s Secrets – Kuza Cave and The Rock Restaurant

After breakfast, head south towards the lush village of Jambiani to visit Kuza Cave, a hidden gem nestled in the tropical jungle. This ancient limestone cave is home to a freshwater pool with clear turquoise water, inviting you for a refreshing dip in its quiet, shaded surroundings. More than a natural wonder, Kuza Cave also serves as a cultural center where local guides introduce visitors to traditional Swahili music, dance, and storytelling, offering a deeper connection to the island’s heritage.

In the afternoon, a special visit awaits at The Rock Restaurant, one of Zanzibar’s most iconic landmarks. Perched dramatically on a rock formation off Michamvi Pingwe Beach, this unique restaurant offers sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. Depending on the tide, you may reach it by foot or a short boat ride. While lunch here is not included, the experience of dining in the middle of the ocean makes it a must-see stop. Afterward, return to your hotel to relax and enjoy your dinner.

Day 4: Ocean Encounters – Dolphin Tour and Mnemba Island Snorkeling

Your morning begins with breakfast followed by a journey to the southern village of Kizimkazi, renowned for its wild dolphin population. Here, you’ll embark on a boat tour with the chance to spot and swim alongside pods of bottlenose and humpback dolphins in their natural environment. It’s a humbling experience to witness these intelligent creatures glide through the sea—an encounter that’s both thrilling and peaceful.

Later, you’ll set out for a snorkeling adventure near Mnemba Island, a private islet surrounded by protected coral reefs. While access to the island itself is restricted, the surrounding waters are among the clearest and richest in marine biodiversity. You’ll float above vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, and with a bit of luck, spot sea turtles or dolphins passing through. After a full day of marine discovery, return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night.
