Maasai Mara - Bush safari

You’ve been dreaming of your safari for so long and now its finally about to begin. You’ll meet your guide who will tell you everything you need to know to get your safari started. We’re as excited as you are to get your trip underway.

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is sure to be one of the highlights of your safari in Kenya. For a start, you’ll almost certainly see rhinos (both black and white), lions and endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. Watch also for flamingo, leopard and plenty of birds, all set against a beautiful backdrop of acacia forest, lake and escarpment.

You’ll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive.

You’ll stay in a quiet area away from the main road, not far from both the City of Nakuru and Lake Nakuru National park at Punda Milias Nakuru Camp. Trees fill the garden area and there’s a restaurant. Accommodation comes in many shapes and sizes, from cottages and rooms in the main building to simple safari tents.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National park – Maasai Mara National Reserve

We think you’ll love the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the best places to watch wildlife anywhere in Kenya. You’re almost guaranteed to see plenty of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas.

You’ll never want to leave Zebra Plains Mara Camp which has luxury. Apart from the stylish safari tents, the bar is a wonderful place to relax and the dining here is some of the best in the area. Best of all, you’re a short drive from some of the best wildlife viewing anywhere in Kenya.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Park

Spend more time exploring the stunning natural landscapes and extraordinary wildlife of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Imagine being out in the soft, early morning  light, wrapped in a blanket, just as the animals emerge from their night’s rest or from the shadows of their nighttime adventures. The world feels fresh and new on an early morning game drive, the sun has yet to beat down upon the earth, and it may end up being your favorite time to be out on safari.

You’ll spend more time at Zebra Plain Mara Camp.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

It’s worth taking the time to explore Nairobi, which is both your getaway to many safari experiences and a fascinating destination in its own right.

Kenya Comfort Hotel is your base with us while you’re in Nairobi, you’ll really enjoy staying here.

Day 5: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

The best thing about visiting Amboseli is seeing large elephants with big tusks with Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro, in the background. It is also an excellent place to see lions, cheetahs, Zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, wildebeests and gazelles.

Just east of Amboseli’s Kimana Gate, Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp puts you in an excellent location for getting to know this beautiful and wildlife-filled corner of Kenya. The safari tents here are large and attractive, and all have fine views towards Mt Kilimanjaro.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

Enjoy longer in the Amboseli National Park, getting to know its many natural charms.

Spend the night in the comfort of Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp.
