Lake Nakuru is Home to Millions of Flamingos, Rhino sanctuary as well as Ornithological paradise. It is a soda lake on the floor of the Rift Valley.
The Lake from a distance appears ringed in pink because of the Vast numbers of flamingos.
The Lake has retained its reputation as an Ornithologist's delight with more than 400 species of birds found here.
It is also an important refuge for endangered species-particularly Rothschild Giraffe and Black and White Rhino.
DAY 1: Eldoret - Lake Nakuru
Depart our Journey from Eldoret to Lake Nakuru. You will get to have a game drive at the Park.
Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The Lake itself is a soda lake and from a distance appears ringed in pink because of the vast number of flamingoes. Lions, Waterbuck, Buffalo and Baboons are all residents here and you will be able to see them. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and White Rhino. Dinner and Overnight stay at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.
DAY 2:Lake Nakuru game park - Eldoret
Breakfast then head for a morning game drive at the park.
Afterwards we check out of the Lodge and proceed our Journey back to Eldoret.
