Your safari to Masai Mara National Reserve is about to begin. We’re as excited about getting going as you are. We’re really looking forward to meeting you, introducing you to your guide and taking you out on the first steps of your safari.
DAY 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
One of your favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Maasai Mara National Reserve. That’s because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats; cheetahs, leopard, lion nd elephants among the highlights.
There’s a very good chance you’ll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas and of course impalas.
It’s easy to fall in love with the Masai Mara when you stay at Zebra Plains Mara Camp(or any other hotel of your preference). The luxury tents are just the beginning, with an outstanding restaurant, a well-restocked bar, and professional service all among the highlights of staying here.
DAY 2: Maasai Mara
Enjoy longer in the Masai Mara National Reserve, getting to know its many natural charms.
This game reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary.
Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year-round. The famous Masai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve.
Return to Zebra plains Mara Camp(or any other hotel of your preference). You are in a first-rate location, which is ideal for seeing the many animals that make visiting the Masai Mara such a special experience.
DAY 3: Lake Nakuru National Park
You’re in for a real treat when you visit Lake Nakuru National Park. It’s one of the best places for seeing both black and white rhinos, but there are other highlights as well, including the possibility of seeing lions(some even climb trees here), leopards, flamingos and endangered Rothschild’s giraffes.
You’ll get to enjoy your stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge or any other hotel of your preference that offers sweeping views over the park, where you’ll often see the park’s wildlife right outside the lodge’s. Facilities at the hotels include a swimming pool, restaurant and spa, and you’ll enjoy the rooms too.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.
